Mission of the Department
M1. Provide students quality education with comprehensive academic curriculum.
M2. Promote criminological and criminal justice education, research, and employment opportunity in Bangladesh.
M3. Develop collaboration with national and international organizations and experts in teaching, training, and research.
M4. Provide research-based policy advocacy for criminological and criminal justice issues at national and international context.
M5. Engage local communities, civil society organizations, and policy makers for the improvement of community safety, human rights, and public confidence in the criminal justice institutions.
Vision of the Department
The department is committed to produce highly skilled professionals who are equipped to address the ever-evolving challenges of the criminal justice system as well as focuses on evidence based research and education with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration.
