About Me
Sumona Sharmin, a faculty member in the department of criminology and police science, is a dedicated academic and researcher focusing on the plight of rape victims in Bangladesh. Her work bridges academia and advocacy, aiming to address the systematic challenges faced by survivors and foster meaningful change in society’s response to sexual violence. She has published research paper both nationally and internationally on the issue of gender based crime. Her work has an impact on shaping students, advancing knowledge and addressing the critical social issues.
